**Why it was chosen:** The Piazzino's centre pole design and round granite base make it a stable, practical shade solution for an open waterside deck without obstructing the view.

A Piazzino centre pole umbrella in ecru was installed on a timber deck overlooking the water in Abu Dhabi. Positioned between two lounge chairs and a side table, it sits on a round granite base for stability in the open, exposed setting.

The umbrella can be closed and covered when not in use, as shown with its matching protective cover, keeping the canopy fabric in good condition between uses. Its position shades the seating area while preserving the open view across the water and surrounding greenery.
