Art Monoblock and Arond 350 Awnings Installed in Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi

We installed a combination of Art Monoblock and Arond 350 motorised awnings for a villa in Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi, shading both the ground floor pool terrace and an upper floor balcony.

The Art Monoblock awning was installed with a 400cm projection, while the Arond 350 was installed with a 3.5m projection, giving the client flexibility to shade different areas of the villa at different depths. Both awnings were finished in a custom powder coated dark green frame to complement the building’s architecture, rather than the standard finishes, and both run on Somfy motors for simple, reliable operation.

The fabric is a solution dyed acrylic, chosen for its fade resistance and durability in the UAE climate, in a soft stone tone that suits the villa’s exterior palette.
