Sombrano S+ Cantilever Umbrella Installed in The Springs

This courtyard in The Springs features a built-in outdoor sofa and lounge setup, finished with a jute rug and scatter cushions. To shade the seating area without cluttering the space with a centre pole, a 3x3m cantilever umbrella was installed to the side of the furniture.

The offset arm design allows the canopy to extend fully over the seating area while keeping the support structure clear of the cushions below, making the space easier to use and move around in. The stone-coloured canopy complements the beige tones of the villa and furnishings.

A heavy granite base anchors the umbrella securely, allowing it to be tilted and rotated to follow the sun throughout the day while providing stable, wind-resistant shade over the seating area.
