Sunflex Cantilever Umbrella Installed in Nad Al Sheba

This outdoor patio in Nad Al Sheba features a dedicated barbecue and dining area positioned against a reed-fenced boundary wall. To provide shade over this space without obstructing the floor area, a 3x3m Sunflex cantilever umbrella was installed, with its offset pole positioned to the side of the seating zone.

The cantilever design allows the canopy to extend freely over the dining table and barbecue station, keeping the pole and base clear of the main activity area. The umbrella sits on a weighted granite base set on paving slabs, giving it the stability needed for outdoor use while remaining easy to reposition if required.

Finished in an ecru tone, the canopy complements the neutral tones of the surrounding walls and paving, offering a simple shading solution for this compact outdoor space.
