Fortano & Piazza Umbrellas Installed in Jubail Island

This poolside terrace in Jubail Island, Abu Dhabi, was fitted with a combination of Fortano cantilever umbrellas and Piazza centre-pole umbrellas to shade the various lounge and dining areas surrounding the pool.

A large Fortano 4x3 cantilever umbrella in ecru shades the main sofa seating area closest to the house, while a second Fortano 3x3 cantilever umbrella covers an adjacent lounge grouping. Both are fitted with mobile bases on castor wheels, allowing the shade to be repositioned as needed. Further along the pool deck, Piazza centre-pole umbrellas with round granite bases shade a pair of built-in daybeds set directly on the water's edge.

Together the umbrellas give the terrace flexible, movable shade across its different functional areas, from relaxed daybed seating by the pool to the open-plan lounge and dining zones near the house.
